As principal of National College of Arts, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to another exciting and promising year at NCA. I am delighted that you are showing interest in the National College of Arts. In this website we have sought to provide you with the information you need to know about this prestigious College. This is an institution I am proud to be associated with for many decades.

The NCA is a unique institute of Pakistan. For the past 139 years, the College has been educating and training prominent architects, artists and designers of the country. Our international level curriculum and educational program bring together theory and practice, taught by highly educated and experienced faculty who are all reputable practitioners. Thanks to the innovative symbiosis of traditional and modern, of theory and practice, of individual effort and expert supervision, that our alumni and faculty participate and compete with international leading artists, architects and designers in exhibitions, design competitions and commissions.

With the ever changing world, NCA recognizes that it needs to stay on top of new developments in everything it does. To keep abreast with trends in the job market and changing frontiers in knowledge NCA has recently launched a Diploma in Furniture Design and Theatre.

Each one of our student is selected from the top applicants across Pakistan. The NCA is unique in being a federal degree-awarding institution based in Lahore and Rawalpindi. From my experience, I can assure you that this diversity gives a unique edge to our students and faculty. Together, as a family, we learn more about ourselves than at any other institution.

My faculty and I are committed to enriching our teaching with our professional experience.
